Bakersfield FD Wellness App app for iPhone and iPad

The mission of the Bakersfield Fire Department (BFD) is to protect, engage, and inspire a safe community while delivering legendary customer service.The Bakersfield Fire Department is a multi-dimensional public safety organization and includes an “all-risk” approach in its emergency service delivery system.

The BFD provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, heavy and technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, water rescue, and other life safety services around-the-clock to a growing community of over 360,000 citizens.

With 240 sworn, support, and reserve personnel operating from fourteen Fire Stations located throughout the City, the Bakersfield Fire Department is ready to meet challenges within the community, region, and state. The BFD is an Insurance Services Office (ISO) rated Class 2 Fire Department, residing in the top 1.5% of Fire Departments nationwide.

This app is for the employees of the Bakersfield Fire Department and the community it serves. It contains information about our department as well as safety and crime prevention tips. BFD Employees will have access to a full range of wellness tools.
